Belle was Elsa’s first ewe lamb. This little girl quickly became much more affectionate than her mother. She is very curious about our large livestock guardian dogs – the Maremma and Maremma-Great Pyrenees mix. Lamb and dogs were often nose-to-nose through the fence. When she was a lamb she would climb up our backs while we were putting out hay.
 
Her fleece appears more black than brown at first glance.
