Hand-Roo'd (tugged/pulled) not shorn! Yarn from NASSA registered Shetland sheep!
Joan of Arc's former owners were moving and needed to sell their flock. We were happy to take on Joan and her sister, both creamy white, especially after we met them and found them very sweet and easy to the hand. While her base can be called brown, the white marking dominates her body. As she ages, her face is going gold with freckles.
 
Joan's yarn is a pearly white with rare dark gossamer strands.
