This Tunis sheep wool is a good example of standard/medium-grade wool. The yarn takes color very well as seen in the example image. The two multicolored skeins are dyed with leftover Easter egg dye and the solid blue is dyed with an acid dye.

The American Tunis, or just Tunis, is endangered in the US. Tunis are a dual-purpose fat-tailed sheep breed. They have good quality wool that is a pleasant natural white after processing, but they are raised primarily for meat. They can also shed their wool. We sourced this fiber from a local shearer.

Skeins are a natural white 100yd, 2-ply Sport wt.
